The Registered Nurse (RN) performs those activities for which the RN has been prepared through education and training. The RN provides care to clients and or staff if necessary. The RN serves as an educator to new hire and current staff with client medicine administration in addition to planning, developing and conducting clinical education and training program. The RN educator will be responsible for maintaining a current knowledge base with regards to rules, regulation, policies and procedures relating to clinical training initiatives. The RN educator will support the Residential/Group Homes in addition to other divisions within Behavioral Health Holdings.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
- Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing;
- Prior Nurse education experience within behavioral health or group home settings is preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- CPR Certification - BLS
