Project Manager - Information Technology

As a Technical Project Manager, you will join a fast-paced team working on a handful of SaaS related projects from inception to completion.

The Technical Project Manager facilitates collaboration across the organization, promotes continuous improvement, streamlines processes, and engages stakeholders (internal and external).

What you will do as a Technical Project Manager:

  • Manages projects through execution to ensure success as defined by scope, budget, deliverables, and timeline

  • Develops comprehensive project plans that align client requirements with company goals and coordinate various leaders and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation

  • Monitors project progress continuously and report on milestones and status

  • Spearheads identification of project issues and implement timely resolution strategies with relevant stakeholders including securing relevant resources to remediate issues while maintaining consistent and timely internal and external communication

  • Communicates proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, solicit feedback, create solutions, and implement improvements.

  • Collaborates on evaluation of economic impact and provide feedback relating to cost/benefit and return-on-investment

  • Reviews proposed modifications to project plans, including meeting with stakeholders to review and approve material changes

  • Anticipates details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news

  • Uses project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence

  • Conducts and communicates risk assessment related to project progress, deliverables, and impact

 

What you need to qualify as a Technical Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, with a degree in engineering, computer science, or supply chain preferred

  • PMP certification preferred

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of project management experience in the IT field or SaaS Solutions. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management tools (e.g., Asana)
