Essential Job Duties:
The Door Shop Assembler is responsible for, but not limited to:
Extensive experience using Power Saws, Air Nail Guns, Table Saw, Router and other hand tools needed to prep door components used to assemble pre-hung doors.
Learn to Identify, locate within the warehouse and manipulate all the various components necessary to produce custom built-up door units.
Comprehend and operate, after training, the door prepping machine.
Ability to retain and apply to future applications, product usage, mathematical calculations, product technical details and quality control requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe all safety rules posted.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Already experienced at operating equipment such as: Staplers, nail guns, routers and a variety of saws.
Great work ethic and team mentality
Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and up to 100 lbs. or more on occasion.
Dusty and noisy environment when operation woodworking machines and tools.
Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time, eye protection and steel toe shoes required at all times.
Overtime work could be involved.
