Agronomist

To service a customer base, grow and promote the Corn, Alfalfa, Soybean, Forages and Lawn Seed product line at K&K Feeds. There is also the product line from the Whitetail Institute for our wildlife food plot sales that will need promotion and recommendations for customers.                            The marketplace area includes, Lebanon, Berks, Dauphin, Schuykill, and Lancaster County.

               Although, this position is not limited to seed, the products used for silage preserving such as: BonSilage, SiloStop and UpNorth will also be promoted.

               Farm calls, field meetings and written newsletter articles for the growers will be the main method used to grow the product lines that are mentioned. The salesperson will have the responsibility of managing field test plots for corn, soybeans, silage and forages. This information will also be a means of educating our customers about the products we sell. Currently we have a monthly newsletter and we will include seed articles in this K&K newsletter.

               Would also include taking soil samples and writing recommendations for customers’ lawns, food plots, and pastures, etc.. Management of crop field signs and scouting new plantings of crops will also be required. Warehouse responsibilities will include sorting, wrapping and labeling orders for customers.
