Job Description


The HRIS Analyst will partners with the HR and Payroll leaders to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. This role will ensure adherence to project schedules, maintain a systems orientation, and work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. The HRIS Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts in ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, reporting writing, and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst will support HRMS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.


  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementing the HRMS, LMS, and other HR system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrades or fixes. Maintain HRMS system tables. Documents process and results.
  • Utilize interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
  • Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and significant variations from established system policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership before implementation.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting various reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assists in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Examines trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques while continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned




  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of focused HRIS configuration experience within multiple disciplines (HCM, Time and Absence, and Compensation preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of HR functional practices, procedures, and HR Technology;
  • Ability to developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to interface directly with company leaders
  • Expertise in Human Resources Processes and HCM Systems
  • Minimum of 3+ years of focused HRIS configuration experience within multiple disciplines (HCM, Time and Absence, and Compensation preferred)
  • Experience designing, testing, deploying and supporting Time and Absence functionality in a complex environment
  • Working knowledge of formal principles and practices in security and compliance as applied to human resources information systems
  • Ability to work independently with high initiative; self-starter, able to identify, analyze, recommend, implement/execute, and support
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other HRIS Sr Analysts, Business Process Owners, HR Operations, and various IT team members to support deadlines
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and judgment in decision-making
  • Ability to be self-directed and motivated
