Job Description

Our client, a leading hospital is looking for an IS Systems Engineer III. Responsibilities include working extensively with the IT organization on projects, planning, issues, policy, reports, troubleshooting and installations.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Plans, forecast and implements new mobility technologies of high complexity.
  • Uses expert knowledge and creative process for new solution design and operation.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of multiple advanced technologies and expertise in the management, administration, configuration, maintenance, and repair of hardware and operating production systems (including Active Directory, Azure AD, O365, WorkspaceOne, WorkspaceOne Access, Imprivata).
  • Capable of interfacing and consulting with users, management, and support and technical staff on projects, planning, issues, policy, reports, troubleshooting, and installations.
  • Exhibits excellent technical and time-management skills which demonstrate the ability to manage projects and deliverables by expected due dates.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of and expertise in existing and cutting edge technologies.
  • Exhibits expert knowledge in the use of existing and future technologies.
  • Coaches and mentors Level I staff, Level II staff and peers with differing detailed knowledge.
  • Serves as expert for management task forces and committees.
  • Participates and provides feedback to improve the company's corporate and IS processes including, but not limited to, work flow, project management, time accounts and employee reviews.
  • Utilizes monitoring, performance analysis, systems management, software and hardware equipment to troubleshoot and isolate problems.
  • Provides technical documentation and support to manage and deliver projects by expected due dates.
  • Attends technical meetings with customers to gather information for reporting, project planning, and technical decision-making.
  • Communicates production problems to affected clinical users as appropriate, following problem management procedure.
  • Design and provide the technical lead, engineering for a variety of infrastructure applications
  • Responsible for advanced integrated systems engineering in a heterogeneous environment
  • Trains and mentors junior team members

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of hands-on experience performing system administration and engineering for one of the following systems UNIX, Windows, MacOS, iOS, Citrix, Infrastructure as a service/ Cloud and Virtualization technologies (Xen, VMware, Microsoft Server).
  • Previous experience implementing large, complex, enterprise class solutions in a global environment.
    Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

  • Ten (10) or more years of hands-on experience performing system administration and engineering for one of the following systems UNIX, Windows, MacOS, iOS, Citrix, Infrastructure as a service/ Cloud and Virtualization technologies (Xen, VMware, Microsoft Server).
  • Senior level experience in developing emerging technology solutions.
  • Preferred Licenses/certificates/registrations: Advanced certification in area of concentration
