A compassionate and caring ABOM/Payroll associate is needed here!!!
Are you the last missing pieces to our puzzle? We have worked really hard putting our team together and are looking to fill in this position.
This position is FULL TIME
1.)Work with the Staff Development coordinator to maintain current, complete personal records for each associate. Which includes but not limited to: copy of current license or certification, background and drug screens, performance evaluation; payroll, etc.
2.) Ensure accounts payable, files are secured and available only to authorized personnel.
3.) Maintain payroll records on a daily basis.
4.) Check time cards and time and attendance system on a daily basis for accuracy and correct any discrepancies.
5.) Keys information into computer system including payroll system and internet applications.
6.) Process on a biweekly basis a complete, accurate payroll transmittal.
7.) Process accurate termination check requests.
8.) Ensure all payroll procedures are followed.
9.) Process payroll changes, including wage increase with proper approval, W4, associate personal data, etc.
10.) Ensure that COBRA, health, dental, FSA, 401K, supplemental benefits, garnishment procedures are followed.
11.) Prepare wage statement and calculate average weekly wage according to procedure for workers comp.
12.) Follow procedures for obtaining and maintaining, I-9 forms and proper forms of identification.
13.) Notify Administrator and Supervisors promptly of any personal problems which includes but not limited to: excessive absenteeism, clock in late or out early, excessive overtime.
14.) Processes invoices in the AP system after getting appropriate department head coding and approval.
15.) Practice infection control policy and procedures of facility.
16.) Practice safety policies and procedures of the facility.
17.) React appropriately to emergencies and disaster situations.
18.) Attend in service education and staff meetings as required.
19.) Be courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all facility associates, residents and public.
20.) Promote and maintain good public relations on behalf of the community.
21.) Regular attendance and dependability.
22.) Demonstrate knowledge of, and respect for, the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident of all interactions.
23.) Appreciates the importance of maintaining confidentiality of resident and facility information.
24.) Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times in the care and us of resident and facility property.
25.) Ability to read, speak and understand English, follow directions and complete the assigned responsibilities of the department.
26.) Must be able to key information into computer systems.
27.) Ability to use 10 key calculator, computer and photocopier.
28.) Possess organizational mathematical and communication skills.
Will need to pass a background and drug test.
