Delaware North Companies Gaming & Entertainment is a leader in its industry. Jumer’s Casino and Hotel is conveniently located at the intersection of Hwy 92 W and Interstate 280 in Rock Island, IL. The one level casino includes over 1,100 slots, a live poker room, 24 table games, and a high limit area. The 205 room hotel includes a salon & day spa, room service, indoor pool & Jacuzzi, fitness center, valet service, and event center. On Site are also four restaurants including, Players Buffet, Blue Square Café, Blue Square To Go and DJ’s Steakhouse, named after our founder, D. James Jumer.
Responsibilities
Clean slot machines and areas
Remove debris from casino floor
Empty trash
Vacuum/Shampoo carpets
Sweep and mop floors
Stock and clean restrooms.
Develops and maintains a service standard that ensures proper internal and external guest service.
Able to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.
Knowledgeable in the operation of a vacuum cleaner.
Must be able to use chemicals for cleaning.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain an Illinois Gaming Board License.
Previous housekeeping, custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
Written and verbal communication skills and be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to work flexible shifts and days, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand, reach, bend, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
