Job Description

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Sales Commission Analyst for a 3-month Contract assignment. Our Client is looking for a Sales Compensation/Commission Analyst. This position will report to the Manager, Global Commission Operations and will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of sales incentive compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring commission and bonus calculations are set up correctly in the automated commission system and completed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the monthly/quarterly calculation and accurate payment of incentive compensation for our field sales organization
  • Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform reconciliations and resolves issues.
  • Prepare all required audit documentation and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Drive and improve the commission process to ensure timely commission payouts.
  • Work with internal/external auditors on an ongoing basis for SOX commission processes and testing.
  • Work closely with other business partners and departments such as Sales Directors, HR, Finance, and IT to drive on-going process refinement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales commissions calculations and reporting.
  • Identify and research anomalies and outliers in data. Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of data table relationships and inter-workings.
  • Possession of strong analytical / statistical skills used in evaluating and analyzing data.
  • Adaptable to changing organizational requirements and priorities and supportive of a diverse work force.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities to meet project schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with appropriate discretion.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Attention-to-detail, self-starter, team player & strong analytical skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business or Accounting
  • 2+ years of experience with developing and implementing sales compensation in a medium to large corporate environment
  • 2+ years of experience of hands-on administration of sales compensation plans and commission calculations and reconciliations in an automated system environment
  • Demonstrable experience as an advanced MS Excel (including pivot tables, and vlookup) user

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Salesforce and SAP CRMs
  • Experience in data analytics, data science or related field
  • Familiar with Adobe Electronic signature application.
  • Proficiency using the Incentive Compensation Management system or any related compensation system
  • Healthcare experience

Work Conditions:

  • This position is currently remote but once the return-to-work restrictions are lifted the must be able to go into the office.
