IT Infrastructure Technician

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician with a diversified background of application and infrastructure architecture experience. This is a contract to potential direct hire opportunity with a global Chemicals Manufacturer located in Washington WV.

This position’s purpose is to provide initial service response while upholding excellent customer service standards to our clients. IT analysts serve as the front line in receiving support tickets and calls. This individual is responsible for quickly triaging all reactive support tickets, diagnosing and resolving Tier 1/2 issues, and escalating Tier 3+ issues quickly to internal helpdesk teams.

Responsibilities:

This person specializes in the design, implementation, and administration of IT applications and infrastructure used to support end users. This individual will have a diversified background of application and infrastructure architecture experience, demonstrated project coordination, excellent vendor management skills, plus a superior, service-oriented approach to supporting related business processes. This individual is also responsible for coordination with resources to ensure that quality, efficiency, and agility goals are achieved. As a member of the IT team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the IT strategy, which includes the guidance, implementation and service delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.
