BLUEPRINTS, Mechanical / Assembly Diagrams, P&IDs and Isometric Drawings.
Read / Follow Blueprints / Mechanical / Assembly Diagrams, P&IDs and Isometric Drawings Required
Ladder Diagrams
PUMPS
Please provide a few types of PUMPS that they need to know how to work on either by function or make.
Centrifugal, diaphragm, vacuum, metering, canned motor, magnetic drive, positive displacement gear.
DURCO, GOULDS, WILDEN, KINNEY, BRAN & LUEBBE, LIQUIFLO, ANSIMAG, INNOMAG, CRANE CHEMPUMP, CASTER, TUTHILL.
MOTORS Single phase & 3 phase
AC/DC power, ohm’s law, radio communications,
Electrical control circuits – repair
Electric motors – rewire
Motor starters – replace
Electronic Circuitry
Use a Megger to determine motor condition
Megger - measure insulation
Pipe threading / pipe fitting
Welding – inspect TIG / MIG / Arc
PLC / DCS – not program but understand Allen Bradley / Delta V / Honeywell Experion (not all but some)
CHEMICALS
pH ; different chemicals to clean instruments and equipment
SHIFT
Initially, the Maintenance Mechanic & Manager works the dayshift 7 – 3:30 AM.
Physically fit – Climb ladders; fit into tight spaces
