We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our federal team leading an exciting Electronic Security System (ESS) program for a Department of Defense contract.

Location: Remote / Virtual (Work from home) with the ability to travel as needed
Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment
Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation per calendar year
Travel Required: 25-50% within the Continental United States (CONUS)

As a Senior Program Manager, you will:

  • Manage customer relationships while leading a large team of technical and non-technical personnel for an ESS program for a Department of Defense contract
  • Oversees and has full responsibility for the P&L for the contract
  • Executes on the statements of work to meet customer requirements
  • Builds trust with customers and internal team members through thorough operational and financial oversight, strong communication, formulated and executing on action plans, soliciting buy-in and feedback, and following through on commitments to customers and stakeholders
  • Manages the program scope, budget, schedule, and customer expectations.
  • Improves customer value through achievement of strong CPARS ratings
  • Assists Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with revenue and profit forecasting to ensure quality results
  • Establishes and oversees management controls to ensure compliance with safety, quality, procurement, subcontracting standards, and other requirements
  • Leads project planning and ensures team has adequate resources and resource requirements are communicated well in advance of needs
  • Identify, analyze and mitigate risks
  • Actively mentors and coaches team members
  • Other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple design-purchase installation and sustainment projects simultaneously for U.S. federal government customers
  • Experience interpreting and working with U.S. Government policies and contracts
  • Demonstrated understanding and fluency with PMBOK
  • Strong people management and leadership skills. Ability to manage large, multi-functional teams providing technical solutions on time and within budget.
  • Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaboration and success with management and customers.
  • Strong customer interfacing skills. Actively listens, understands, and communicates customer requirements and concerns to ensure customer confidence with our ability to executive project needs quickly and effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with emails and CDRLS
  • The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances and/or badges as required to perform site duties. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge, training, and experience working with commercial and/or industrial intrusion detection, access controls, CCTV, and other Electronic/Integrated Security Systems (ESS)

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PgMP or PMP certification strongly preferred
  • Industry Electronic/Integrated Security System certification, licenses, and/or training
