POSITION Summary: Accurately analyze, reconcile and report data by understanding each client's needs, applying timely, results-driven solutions and teaching the client’s process improvement to make them more efficient and effective. Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external clients, build trust, and serve the client as an extension of their team while representing Johnson Consulting Group's mission and core values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Project management of valuation and marketing packages as assigned which includes:
- Collect, organize, review and analyze financial data to include detail revenues/expenses to project a budget/proforma
- Review financial data gathered and obtained from financial statements, general ledgers, tax returns, etc. to obtain knowledge, trends and projections for ongoing business revenues and expenses for the budget/proforma
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative business practices including preparing annual cash flow projections. Construct financial presentations using JCG financial analysis templates
- Work with clients through review of presentation and business materials and any question/answer forum necessary
- Track progress and status of projects throughout the analysis process in Sales Force
- Meet timelines and coordinate/assist with scheduling due diligence efforts including review of purchase agreements and schedules, surveys and environmental/building inspections, financial due diligence, etc.
- Work with potential Buyers to understand the marketing presentations created for divestiture clients and answer questions during the review process.
- Work with potential Buyers to negotiate divestitures and acquisitions focusing on structure of the sale, terms, conditions, etc. taking into consideration the value of the business.
- Oversee and manage the transaction from an offer stage (Letter of Intent) to closing, working with both Buyer teams and Seller teams (accountants, legal counsel, lenders, etc.).
- Project management of Management and Accounting Division analysis as assigned which includes:
- Collect, organize, review and analyze financial data gathered and obtained from financial statements, general ledgers, tax returns, etc. to obtain knowledge, trends and projections for ongoing business revenues and expenses in order to create a budget/proforma
- Create summary write-ups/presentations of client data for discussion purposes with management consultant and/or client
- Incentive plan creation, management and reporting
- Interpret and create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for review with clients
- Assisting with Strategic plan creation and analysis
- Assisting with Marketing plan analysis
- Review questions and answers with clients to finalize the analysis and presentation
- Meet timelines and coordinate/assist with scheduling of Management Services projects
- Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports and following through with assigned administrative tasks.
- Manage time and resources to meet company expectation and Key Performance Indexes (KPIs)
- Communicate effectively with all company departments and associates
- Maintain set goals and deadlines
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in use of the JCG document exchange website, JCG Sales Force Database and JCGPerformanceTracker.com
- Proficient in use of the ScanUS demographic software package
- Ad hoc analysis needed from time to time
- Collaborating in the efforts of continual improvement of process when appropriate
- Represent the company professionally
- Communicate with the clients to best serve their needs, serving as a partner and extension of the clients team
- Communicate with Buyers and Sellers throughout a due diligence process working towards a successful closing of a transaction.
- Perform other duties as required
SKILLS:
- Funeral and Cemetery industry knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work with potential buyers with understanding marketing presentations.
- Accounting, budget and forecast experience
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required in Business Mgmt, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Economics
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimal experience required
