Registered Nurse, Interventional Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology Lab:
In our IRCV department, you'll work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in an interventional radiology and cardiovascular procedural environment, providing assistance to the physicians, including prep and recovery, circulating, moderate sedation, hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring, and first assistant "scrubbing' during stenting, angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, cardiac rhythm device implantation and electrophysiology procedures.
2 years of relevant specialty experience preferred

- Candidate must be external-outside of the Johns Hopkins Health System affiliate hospitals
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath STEMI Experience
- Candidate must commit to a minimum 2 year service commitment in the HCCH Cardiovascular Interventional Lab
- Candidate must be in good standing at time of bonus payments
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
On Call Required. Minimum 9 days/month on call including one weekend on call (Friday at 1600-Monday at 0700)
Work Location: Howard County General Hospital - cath lab
1.BSN is preferred for nurses hired prior to July 1, 2016.
2.All nurses hired after July 1, 2016 must:
Hold a BSN, or
Complete a BSN program within 4 years of their hire date with steady progress toward degree completion. Steady progress is defined as a minimum of 9 credits per calendar year from the time they begin course work. RNs who are not yet enrolled in a BSN program, must apply to and be accepted into a BSN program within six months of hire, with course work to begin promptly after acceptance.
