Job Overview –Part time Front Desk/Administrative Assistant (Broker Services Representative)

The part-time Broker Services Representative (BSR) for John L. Scott’s Coeur D'Alene office provides administrative support to the Office Staff and Real Estate Broker Associates while working at the front desk. We are looking for someone who will help set the tone for the office culture by greeting agents and clients with warmth, who will help real estate agents perform efficiently, attitude is everything! Additionally,we are looking for a team member who will understand that the big goals aren’t met without the small daily tasks being taken care of with integrity and attention to detail.

This position requires a friendly, professional demeanor, must be computer/systems savvy and have a passion for customer service. In addition, our BSR, along with the Executive team and all employees of John L. Scott, embrace our core value, “Living Life as a Contribution”™.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a trusting and team-oriented relationship with the entire branch support team
  • Provide technical assistance and/or training with equipment and John L. Scott software applications
  • Provide information to brokers regarding all John L. Scott Client/Broker Service
  • Help create marketing collateral & assist in all social media postings
  • Coordinate with staff, agents, vendors, and clients with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Assist in event planning and organizing outside of the office for local community services and volunteer opportunities
  • Comfortable operating a multi-line phone system
  • Greet people entering the establishment and answer all incoming phone calls

Education
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Post Secondary Education

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of a range of computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, database skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Possess strong communication skills to work closely with agents, clients and vendors in a positive and friendly manner
  • Knowledge of major software programs and ability to adapt to technology upgrades
  • Extremely organized with excellent project management skills
  • Service-based attitude
  • Natural ability to focus through periodic interruptions in a busy office setting
  • Calm under pressure
  • Sales and/or Real Estate experience helpful but not required
