Job Details

The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
Other duties may be required and assigned.
Summary: Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities. May involve supervising one or
more trade groups working in a particular construction discipline. Responsible for crews who lays, joins,
aligns, wraps and seals pipe section. Must have verifiable Pipe experience.
Plan and supervise Foreman and / or craft activities, including determining method of construction ,

manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and
documenting actual hours worked.
Coordinate assigned work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings,

specifications and schedule.
Monitor craft compliance with project safety requirements; documents and ensure corrective

measures are implemented.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
Technical Knowledge:
Ability to demonstrate expertise in construction management engineering through combination of education,
technical training and / or experience that include a minimum of eight years supervisory experience in similar
facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures. Advanced understanding of
construction management, scheduling and cost control. Proven ability to control and supervise large groups is
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk for long periods; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift
and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds. Climb up and down ladder, scaffolds and other objects and carry
tools and equipment. Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Ability to see well and distinguish between back up
alarms, voices and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites.
Environmental Adaptability:
Work inside and outside in all weather conditions, and various locations. Hard hat, hearing and eye protection
