Job Responsibilities
- Supervise BDC personnel to ensure company policies and procedures are being followed according to Employee Handbook.
o Review performance of department, develop and implement improvement/action plans as required.
o Train new employees according to processes, as well as continually train personnel on updated procedures.
o Assign and ensure each BDC personnel has access to their assigned outbound calls, as well as ensure phone calls are going out in an efficient and timely manner.
o Observe & monitor phone conversations to ensure customers are well informed, as well as that all phone calls are answered on the first ring.
o Create BDC schedule Bi-Monthly.
o Handle any complaints or concerns in a timely manner.
o Run daily/weekly reports & track results.
o Order shirts, business cards, and related supplies for service department employees.
o Coordinate catering for Saturday lunch.
o Interface with other department managers to maintain open lines of communication between all departments.
o Work as needed to help other departments function to their highest ability.
o Work directly with Service Department Managers improving processes.
o Will perform any other necessary task needed.
Skills/Qualifications
- Excellent telephone skills are a must
- Ability to instantly build rapport with clients
- Friendly but professional demeanor
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enjoy talking on the phone and willing to help customers
- Overcome customer objections in order to set the appointments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions to perform tasks for the Business Development Manager
- Determination to effectively follow-up with customers
Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic computer skills
- Must have valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:
- The physical requirements of the position are Light to Medium Work.
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
- Constant - Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
- Frequent - Repetitive motion.
- Occasional - Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting (~15-20 lbs.)
Physical Working Conditions:
- This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to: temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
