Jim McKay Chevrolet is seeking to add a service cashier/receptionist to help with our growing and expanding business. Must be motivated, dependable, friendly and able to multitask. Would prefer someone with CDK experience, but willing to train the right person. You will need to have more than basic math skills and knowledge of cash transactions, credit card terminals, scanners and electronic equipment. Professional business attire is required. Occasional Saturdays may be required.

-Answer dealership phone calls and transfer to the appropriate extension.
-Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
-Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
-Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
-Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
-Reconciles cash drawer daily.
-Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased or refers them to someone who can.
-Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
-Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed.
-Maintains a professional appearance.
-Keeps work area neat and clean.
-Other tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Pay: competitive hourly rate based on experience
