Salary: $15-$28 D.O.E.


Jiggsa is a national technology firm specializing in low voltage solutions, connectivity and "bringing the pieces together" Jiggsa is the preferred talent source for a premier telecommunications company here in the greater Albuquerque area and we’re looking for experienced Low Voltage Professionals to meet their demand. Employees in this position will perform a full range of work across various platforms, with a heavy focus on telephone and DSL systems. Jiggsa technicians perform a full range of low voltage wiring for new and existing residential and commercial construction.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the low-voltage industry required as well as ES7J license or ability to obtain ES7J license 

The Work

  • Performing the installation and repair of telephone and broadband services utilizing copper and fiber optic transport types in the homes and businesses of our customers
  • Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked to perform required duties
  • Complete any paperwork associated with job responsibilities as needed
  • Properly maintain company issued assets and use as directed
  • Report vehicle repair and/or service needs when required
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

What’s in a day’s work?

This position requires the following; the ability to read and understand ticket information, the ability to troubleshoot/repair and install DSL, Phone, and fiber optic lines. Physical conditions may include crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Also, working with general hand tools, power tools, ladders, good analytical skills, attention to detail and following safety policies will be essential to your success. You must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects and meet timelines.

What will you need to get started?

  • Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

What Are Our Working Conditions?

  • Technicians are subject to inside and outside working environments including, exposure to heat, rain and snow
  • Potential exposure to low voltage electricity, working on elevated platforms such as ladders and at times, poorly ventilated areas
  • Evening, weekend, and overtime hours may be required to meet the needs of the business

What Equipment and Tools Will You Use?

  • General hand tools such as crimpers, nut drivers, cutters, pliers, hammers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, power drills, wrenches, shovels, picks, etc.
  • Electronic signal metering equipment and ladders
  • Company vehicle
