A therapist is a member of an integrated care team at JFS focusing on evidence-based interventions and providing a wide range of support and training for its staff. The agency invests in its staff members, encouraging professional growth and development and providing a wide range of support and training for its staff, including support in obtaining evidence-based training/credentialing.
A therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosis and treating children, teens and families seeking counseling services to address life stressors, mental health conditions and/or addiction in the office and via telehealth.
A perfect candidate for this position will have experience with children/teen populations and families, specialized training in child development, experience (and applicable licensing) with evidence-based interventions, and a desire to work in a mission-oriented environment.
