Staff Accountant / Controller

JET Technologies, a multi-faceted corporation focused on plastic CNC fabrication and Thermoforming / Vacuum Forming, located in Elkhart, IN has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Daily entry and oversight of G/L, AP, AR
• Conduct mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations
• Verify accuracy of data and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnel
• Reconcile Bank Statements
• Prepare and maintain financial reports
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports
• Conduct Month-end and Year-end transactions
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects
• Work with outside Accounting Firm as needed
• Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain filing systems and records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High degree of confidentiality, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with AS400 operating system is extremely helpful, but not a requirement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
