Jersey Staffing is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team to support hiring in our Strategic Division with both Engineering and Information Technology Placements. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment, is driven to outperform expectations, and wants to work for a dynamic company with professional growth potential! This candidate must be a doer and must adapt to the different needs of the business.
Position: Executive Technical Recruiter – Strategic Division
Location: Whippany, NJ (remote candidates will be considered)
As the Executive Technical Recruiter – Strategic Division your responsibilities will include:
  • Review and clarify job specifications, competencies and skills required
  • Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies
  • Mine candidate resumes using various job boards, ads and referrals
  • Creatively utilize various social networking resources (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to identify niche candidates
  • Review, qualify, and interview prospective candidates for placement utilizing situational and behavioral interviewing questions
  • Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives
  • Brief and debrief candidates before and after interviews
  • Extend offers of employment within company procedures
  • Manage the job offer including negotiation and administration
  • Manage effective post-hire, orientation and integration process for new employees
  • Conduct reference and background checks on candidates as needed with HR
  • Coach and provide resume advice and interviewing tips to candidates
  • Provide ongoing communication and regular updates with candidates
  • Maintain recruiting metrics
  • Confer with management to identify recruiting needs
  • Relationship management as needed for call outs, quality checks, performance review, employee relations, coaching, etc.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to Account Manager and Client contacts
  • Other tasks deemed necessary
What experience we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of relevant recruiting experience with Engineering, IT and/or technical roles
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle process
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Work and Excel
  • Experienced with applicant tracking systems
  • Well versed in candidate sourcing solutions
  • Strong Linkedin presence
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
