Account Manager

Jersey Consulting Group filling a vacancy for an entry-level/junior Account Manager in Newark, NJ. Training will be provided. The Account Manager prospects sales and qualifies leads for new and existing accounts. 

***There is a preference for a candidate with high energy, curiosity about the industry, and tenacity.

Account Manager Employment Requirements:

  1. BSc/BA
  2. Ready to commute to Newark, NJ
  3. Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques 
  4. Experience with CRM software
  5. Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  6. Understanding of sales performance metrics

Role & Responsibilities of an Account Manager:

  1. Generate lead flow -
    • Prospect new sales lead by making an initial phone or email contact.  Engage the account and prepare them for the Account Executive. Connect with as many leads as possible to encourage the purchase of the product offered. Be the point person for your team's sales leads qualification process.
  2. Manage current accounts –
    • Stay in close contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, and educational opportunities, and request referrals. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls between new clients and Account Executives.
  3. Sales and Customer support – 
    • Answer calls and emails from clients, identify the issue and make suggestions for future or new products or services.
