About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Associate, Business Operations to own high impact initiatives designed to help us scale. Since launching our mobile app in 2019, we have amassed over 4M customers, expanded our product offerings to multiple categories and scaled our team 10X. As we enter the next phase of our growth, we are investing heavily in evolving our core operational infrastructure to meet our growing customer demand and ensure we are running at peak efficiency.
Reporting to our VP, Business Operations and Analytics, you will act as a bridge between CX operations and product teams. Partnering closely with Jerry’s senior leaders in insurance operations and sales/service, you will identify opportunities to drive customer conversion and retention in our mobile app, as well as promote operational excellence through process automation and optimization. You will create data-driven recommendations to reduce demand on our agents' time, optimize our internal work streams to reduce OpEx and inefficiencies, and collaborate with our product management teams to inform new feature development and improve our in-app experience. We are looking for someone analytical and process driven who can collaborate effectively across organizations. Develop insights and recommendations to drive stronger conversion and retention through the mobile app by analyzing call volumes, text volumes, and other sales and service agent activities.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and optimize our operational efficiency
Share your insights with product managers to inform product features and strategies that will drive more activity through our automated native app and reduce manual intervention
Define key metrics for operational excellence including customer attributes to inform call priority, agent effectiveness, etc.
Partner with operations, product managers, data analysts, carrier partners, and other key business stakeholders
What we are looking for:

Tenacious: You’re a hustler at heart and you thrive under pressure
Super organized: You balance a packed schedule, an endless to-do list, can manage a team, and never let anything drop
Strong communicator: Able to drive alignment and communicate effectively to different audiences
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, statistics, computer science or related
3-4 years of experience in either management consulting, business operations, operations research, or manufacturing/process engineering
