Beach Gate Attendant (ages 18+)

The South Beach Department is dedicated to making beach trips relaxing and enjoyable all throughout the summer for our customers. We want to make access to our clean and beautiful Jersey Shore as easy-breezy as possible, and we want you to be part of it!

Description

• Assist customers when they purchase beach access wristbands; put wristbands on
• Maintain accurate change box in accordance with company policy
• Exemplify high-quality customer service through answering questions customers have in a polite manner
• Maintain conversations with customers to make them feel welcome
• Utilize the “customer is always right” ethos when diffusing a variety of customer issues

Requirements

• Have a flexible schedule to meet seasonal demands
• Basic math and reading comprehension
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Knowledge of Jenkinson's events and locations
• Must be willing to work outside with heat and sun exposure

Beach Attendant (ages 14+)

The South Beach Department is dedicated to making beach trips relaxing and enjoyable all throughout the summer for our customers. We want to make access to our clean and beautiful Jersey Shore as easy-breezy as possible, and we want you to be part of it!

Description

• Assist guests with setting up umbrellas and beach chairs.
• Collect and store umbrellas and beach chairs at the end of the day.
• Clean the beach of any loose garbage.
• Clear ramps, stairs, and shower platforms of sand and debris.
• Exemplify high-quality customer service through answering questions customers have in a polite manner
• Maintain conversations with customers to make them feel welcome

Requirements

• Have a friendly and helpful personality
• Must be flexible regarding schedules based on seasonal demands
• Able to lift in excess of 20 pounds
• Able to work independently and perform tasks with minimal direction
• Able to work outside during the summer
