Vast majority of the job is machining on manual lathes using 4-jaw chuck.
Ability to indicate parts using 4-jaw chuck is a requirement.
The position will also require the individual to disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and make necessary repairs to various centrifugal parts and components.
-Read and interpret mechanical drawings
-Use air powered hand tools for disassembly/assembly
-Use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure proper tolerances are kept
-Operate manual lathes, mills, and presses under minimal supervision
-Indicate parts using 4-jaw chuck
-High mechanical IQ
-Experience as a manual machinist
