Jefferson Healthcare is searching for an amazing Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist to join our recruiting team! We are seeking someone who has incredible organization skills, high attention to detail, is self-motivated, and loves people. This job is equal parts chaos and formula and we can't wait to meet you!

General Summary:

Executes on the full recruitment cycle for union and non-union positions. Administers sourcing, assessment and closing approaches for candidate sourcing. Administers Human Resource programs, procedures, and plans.

  • Graduate of an approved High School program or GED equivalency required
  • Two or more years of recruiting experience
  • Three years Customer service experience required
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Primary Functions:

  • Provide ongoing support to leaders, and candidates in all aspects of employment functions within recruiting guidelines and procedures, including posting positions and monitoring open positions
  • Support Leaders with recruiting related activities as needed (i.e., sourcing, pre-screening, candidate follow ups, offer preparation, on-boarding, etc.)
  • Provide excellent customer service and guidance to candidates and hiring managers in all aspects of recruitment
  • Maintain manager and employee confidence by keeping information confidential
  • Track and assist with all aspects of the pre-hire process and follow up with new hires as required. Keep the recruiter and hiring leader informed as necessary
  • Process expenses and support reporting needs. This may include processing a variety of documents.
  • Facilitates onboarding and orientation of candidates
  • Assist with special recruitment projects such as onsite/offsite job fairs, seminars, conventions, and other corporate sponsored events as needed
  • May schedule interviews and site visits, update recruiter and leader calendars, greet and welcome candidates and assist during on-site interviews
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of cost-effective recruitment plans, including advertising, career fairs, college recruiting, and national recruiting events
  • May work with search firms or other placement agencies to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool.
  • Participates in the interview processes, provides packets and guides interview panels.
  • Provides feedback as needed to leaders on current recruiting pool availability.
  • Assists with developing employment offers with competitive compensation, benefits, and relocation terms to present to candidates and assists in compensation negotiations.
  • Maintains relationships with vendors to provide temporary (travel) staffing and executes temporary (travel) staffing processes and procedures.
  • Captures, maintains and reports on talent acquisition data to leader
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as requested.
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
  • May participate in projects to create and improve processes for role
  • Promote Jefferson Healthcare's story and values
  • Provides visible HR presence with our employees and customers to enable real time engagement and solutions.
