A Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for the delivery of patient care as directed by the physician and/or mid-level provider. The MA assists, under supervision, the delivery of medical care to the patient in compliance with and understanding of that care and assists in running an efficient and professional practice. They understand and abide by all Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, Security policies, and code of conduct by displaying ethical behavior as it applies to the scope and authority of the job. The Medical Assistant will work directly with the Provider, Practice Manager and other staff, and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Current Washington State certification in good standing; MA-C required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Two years of medical office experience preferably in a clinic setting preferred
• Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications and licenses required and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements

Schedule

0.875 PTE; 35 hours/week; Day Shift; Days expected to be Wednesday-Saturday, days can vary
