The Jacksonville Spine Center is seeking a full-time PA for our Interventional Pain Management practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary job functions include the provision of direct patient care, consultation services and education of staff. Duties include providing diagnostic interviews and assessments for patients, initiating and expediting requests for consultations and scheduling special tests and studies. The PA is expected to demonstrate knowledge of established and evolving biomedical, clinical and social sciences, and the application of their knowledge to patient care and the education of others.
The PA provides assessment, treatment and/or referral service for patients.

3. Exhibits strong clinical skills to improve patient care.
4. Possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to effectively interpret and communicate health care information to the patient, family and the interdisciplinary health care team.
We are interested in applicants with orthopedic, spine, and /or pain management experience, as well as recent graduates. Our practice utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach along with the latest treatment and surgical techniques. This position entails working in a very fast-paced/busy office.
The PA exercises independent and cooperative judgment, consults with the ancillary staff members, peers and other leaders as needed. The PA reports directly to the Practice Manager and then to the physicians. The PA collaboratively participates in formal workgroups, consultation, and program evaluation, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Attention to detail, excellent communication skills along with willingness to speak with referral sources are a must.
Applicants must possess a current Physician Assistant license from the State of Florida.
