Our Outside Sales Representatives (OSR) are the face of our company and we need someone to portray the images described above. As an OSR for JASPER, you would develop new business by canvassing your territory and building relationships with existing customers. This territory covers areas surrounding Sioux Falls.
Field Work: (90% of time)
- Call on (face-to-face) primarily 4 types of customers on a daily basis: Independent Garages, Automobile Dealerships, Marinas and Fleets (Municipalities, Construction Companies, Truck Companies, Bus Companies, etc.).
- Utilize a proven system of selling with a variety of marketing materials.
Office Work: (10% of time)
- Document information before and after each sales call
- Download the information into the JASPER system at the end of each day as well as the end of each week.
To be a successful OSR, you must meet/exceed minimum statistical requirements that are part of the JASPER selling system. Having a mechanical background is not necessary, but a willing to learn and develop an interest in the industry is a must.
We need an Outside Sales Rep with prior business-to-business experience and knowledge of selling a premium priced product. Time management and organizational skills are critical to “Doing it Right”.
