Network Engineer with AZURE -- Pasadena, Texas (Onsite from Day 1)

This position will provide technical work for key O&G vertical-based accounts teams. The ability to quickly understand requirements, develop solutions and implement network solutions concisely explain them is critical to the success. In this role, the successful candidate will:

Review and analyze the client's current technology infrastructure and evaluate whether the proposed solution will support their objectives.

Work with internal and external stake holders to understand business requirements and provide feedback relative to the technical solution designs at both high and low levels.

Support the build and communicate the value proposition of the end to end solution to client representatives.

REQUIREMENTS

Engineering or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent work experience. Masters level education desired.

7-8 years' experience with Networks, VLAN, Firewall, Security, Design and implementation, Azure Cloud

Knowledge of the following security practice areas is desired: ( bold for Role )

LAN / WAN

Converged Campus ( dnac )

WIFI ( Controller based management )

Security and ISE

Unified communication

Contact centers

Governance, Risk & Compliance requirements and solutions

Threat & Vulnerability Management

Experience preparing proposals and solution designs.

Any of the following industry leading security certifications are helpful:

CCNA / CCNP / CCIE ( R&S, DC etc.)

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
