We are currently growing our Water business in Singapore, where we are seeking an office-based Civil Hydraulic Engineer.
The role will provide civil and hydraulic engineering design and project management assistance under supervision as part of the water resources team in Singapore. Main duties: + Provide civil and hydraulic engineering design/reports and project management support under supervision as part of the water resources team. + Manage small projects and oversee site investigation works under supervision. + Assist with the technical review of civil infrastructure and hydraulic designs/reports. + Assist with technical co-ordination of design work within a multi-disciplinary project team. + Assist with and contribute to the implementation of JACOBS QA procedures. **Here's What You'll Need:** To be a successful candidate, you shall possess: + Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering recognized by PEB Singapore + Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in the design and construction of water resources/water infrastructure projects in Singapore + Demonstrated understanding and competency in some or all the following: hydraulic design and analysis of structures; open channel and piped drainage design and analysis; hydrological and hydraulic modeling; and geographical information systems (e.g. ArcGIS, MapInfo) + Experience with PUB projects would be an added advantage + Previous experience on the reservoir, dam, and/or coastal projects preferred due to the nature of the project/work **Jacobs.
