Jacob Krueger Studio is searching for a Studio Assistant for our growing screenwriting school in New York City. This is both a customer facing support and technical role, whose responsibilities are focused on the facilitation of our class experience and technical support.
The Studio Assistant has a key role in assuring the delivery of our programming, both for students in person at the studio and online. They also serve as a direct liaison between those students and our educators and faculty. Our ideal candidate is someone not only invested in the efficient execution of our classes, but someone who is eager to further develop and improve our systems.
Experience with Salesforce is preferred as we use this platform throughout our daily operations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with online platforms and basic video/audio technology including Ustream, Schoology, Wordpress, Zoom, Mailchimp, social media and other software platforms (training in these systems will be provided as necessary).
This role will focus on faculty and administrative support; collaboration with the administrative team; as well as hiring, training and managing additional assistants as needed. The Studio Assistant will uphold best practices with regard to digital recording and archiving of classes; student facilitation (both in-person and online), scheduling and rescheduling of both classes and one-on-one consultations, managing teacher calendars, website updates and promotion and implementing and improving systems to ensure seamless operations.
This role will require evening work.
Act as a student liaison and direct support to students and educators
Administrate necessary day-to-day tasks to facilitate class experience and program delivery
Ensure accurate running of tech (video and audio) for virtual classroom
Operate and work within Salesforce
Assist in management of our roster of class concierges
Scheduling and calendar management
Familiarity with online workshops and classes, audio visual equipment and video chat services
At least 4 years of administrative experience, including scheduling and management of multiple calendars & heavy phone work.
Familiarity with video editing software
Familiarity with simple audio and camera set-up
Comfort with Salesforce a requirement, facility with wordpress and social media platforms preferred.
Adept at problem-solving and communication via phone, email and in person
Wordpress familiarity a plus
Customer Service and Technical Support via popular platforms like ZenDesk and Intercom a plus
