Jacob Krueger Studio is a boutique screenwriting school with a mission to empower artists by disrupting the traditional film school model. Our classes teach writers to transcend formulas to not only develop a marketable screenplay but also find their voices as artists. Our ProTrack program offers writers lifelong one-on-one mentorship with working professional filmmakers, at a fraction of the cost of grad school.
Seeking an energetic and tech-savvy individual to be the hub of communications and scheduling at our front desk in our New York City Studio who can assist the Studio Coordinator in many aspects of the job.
Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
welcoming and engaging students in the lobby and as they arrive for class
answering phone and email inquiries
responding to help desk tickets with regard to class technical difficulties or class purchases
taking credit card information and processing class orders as needed
class social media posts
followup calls to students
keeping lobby and classrooms tidy and well-functioning
preparing coffee and snacks for classes
assisting or running monthly Friday evening events
general assistance to the CEO, Director, and Office Manager
Experience - this position is Entry Level
2+ years customer success, office assistant or reception experience, preferably in education or entertainment industries
Proven track record of working in a customer-facing role
The ideal candidate has Bachelor's degree in business administration, education administration or experience in sales or admin related field
Technical acuity and experience with or ability to learn SalesForce, Appointlet, Intercom and other software.
Skills and Qualifications
must be a go-getter, with quick response time and a "can-do" attitude
Educated to degree level preferred but not essential
Experience working with different software and operational platforms
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change
Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a “can-do” attitude
We are looking for either a Full Time employee but will consider Part Time for the right canidate.
Full Time: $15/hr starting out, for the right candidate there is plenty of growth potential and wage raises.
Part Time: $15/hr starting out, for the right candidate there is high potential to move to full time and wage raises
