Apical Resource Group, a division of Jackson Staffing Group has been retained to fill an awesome new opening for our client who is well versed selling to the Independent and Small Chain Grocery space. This is a great opportunity for you if you’re interested in working in a fast-paced, growing industry that is constantly evolving. Our client is a data-driven technology company that is constantly anticipating what the next shift in their industry might be.

We have an immediate need for a Territory Sales Representative for New England to sell cutting-edge technology to Supermarkets, Specialty Food and Natural Food stores. Our client offers the latest technology – hardware and software – to enable their customers to reduce their overhead costs and dive into the data to analyze their business. They navigate their customers through the shifting retail landscape, leveraging the latest technology such as self-checkout and e-commerce integration, enabling them to compete and win.

You will start out with a well-established customer base, selling cutting-edge products, coupled with their world-class service.

We are looking for you to learn their business and help them increase market share. You will be developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and business owners and enabling them to take their business to the next level. Through the sales process you will be achieving established metrics for customer engagement and territory quota.

College Education

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Good Work Ethic

Strong communications ability

Organizational ability

Time management ability

Attention to detail

Prior POS Sales Exp. Is required

Prior software or hardware sale to the Retail space is required

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify new business opportunities

Maintain weekly call, visit and proposal delivery metrics with customers and prospects

Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers

Establish rapport with prospects

Identify and vet out needs of customers and prospects

Identify up-sell opportunities and deliver proposals to customers and prospects
