JVC brand projectors are globally renowned for their unmatched image quality and lead the market in both the high-end home theater and flight simulation markets. The projector division in the USA are seeking to expand their dedicated team with the recruitment of a marketing manager. Though JVCKENWOOD USA is headquartered in Long Beach CA, this new position can be remotely located, will involve frequent travel to support the existing sales team and will report to the division Vice President.

Marketing Manager

As the Marketing Manager, you’ll be the division lead for all marketing and communication projects, providing clear strategy from concept through to production – following brand style guides along the way. You’re a self-starter who can take the initiative and manage the teams’ projects, partnering with multiple departments across the organization to drive the business forward.

You’ll need a keen eye for design, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and marketing acumen. You must have a solid design foundation, be able to concept new ideas, and bring fresh creative thinking through to production for all projects.


The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in the development and production of all social media content, print advertising, digital advertising, sales/promotional materials, and other creative marketing needs. You’ll propose and execute weekly / monthly / quarterly content calendars, set creative production schedules, and partner with internal teams to coordinate product launches.

In this role, you’ll direct ad layout, design, and copywriting; determine and monitor creative production schedules; provide clear creative direction and timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes and keep work on brand, on budget, and on time. This includes:

  • Creative
    1. Conceptualize and execute all creative marketing campaigns, ensuring projects adhere to brand guidelines.
      • Project types include print, out of home, video, photography, presentations, graphics, web, internal and external communications, social media, and digital design.
    2. Partner with our corporate marketing team and freelancers to develop creative assets to support the marketing strategy.
  • Social Media
    1. Create and manage execution of social media content strategy, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat.
    2. Compose and schedule posts on our social media platforms.
    3. Manage and execute paid social advertising according to established budgets; track weekly spend for finance reporting.
    4. Engage with social media audiences – provide timely responses to inbox messages and post comments.
    5. Responsible for analyzing results and identifying ways to maximize our social media spend.
    6. Develop conversations and connections with industry thought leaders.
  • Digital Advertising
    1. Develop and execute our paid digital ad strategy (Google and Facebook).
    2. Build retargeting strategies to increase conversions.
  • Email Marketing
    1. Own branding and execution of all internal and external email announcements and newsletters for the division.
  • Sales Content
    1. Partner with Sales team to develop creative marketing campaigns, including drop campaigns and company collateral.
  • ROI Reporting & Recommendations
    1. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on:
      • Social media ads—likes, reach, shares, impression, CPC, CPR, and A/B testing results
        • Identify market barriers and develop strategies to improve results
      • Social platform growth—total increase/decrease in followers.
      • Email open and click through rates; A/B subject line testing results
      • Recommend steps to increase campaign and achieve greater ROI


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with 2+ years marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing strategy & tactics
  • 2+ years of professional social media account experience. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Pro at Facebook and Google Ads Manager platforms, retargeting strategies & audience building
  • Exceptional design and copywriting skills
  • Experience pitching new creative concepts and strategic initiatives to leadership teams
  • Well-polished written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible, able to manage multiple priorities at once
