Software Developer III

Overview

JST is currently seeking a Software Developer III to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Software Developer III Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and maintenance of custom code in support of cutting-edge software initiatives, including applications designed to assist active investigations/ operations
• Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create an effective feature roadmap while assisting in leading long term technical vision and roadmap for large cross-company efforts
• Actively contribute to our user interface development to address emerging mission requirements
• In this role you will be able to design, develop, and deploy new cutting-edge software applications
• Some of the responsibilities of this role include designing, testing and developing web-based software, ensuring function continuity through revisions, and translating UI/UX design frameworks
• Develop and engineer a user interface using Angular JS, HTML, CSS, and C#

Software Developer III Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Familiarity and Experience with Web Development Technologies - Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Groovy, Grails, Angular
• Familiarity and Experience with Backend Development Technologies - General knowledge of Python and Java language
• Familiarity and Experience with general Software concepts - Software as a Service, Microservices, Containerization, Cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services

Required Clearances and Screenings

• MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
