Entry Level Maintenance Tech

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Starting pay: $17+/hour

Shift differential: additional $.75/hour for all hours worked between 3p-7a

Schedule: 12 hour, rotating (7a-7p & 7p-7a, both required)

In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance duties in a manufacturing environment to include all aspects of plant equipment and repairs. This is a hands on position. Interested candidates should have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting and have advanced problem solving skills.

Duties:

· performing press tool changes in accordance with the production schedule

· preventative maintenance, monitoring, and maintaining the condition of all associated equipment

· performing repairs on this equipment

· performing general plant maintenance

· completing all appropriate documentation and for providing assistance and maintenance support as needed through good communications with department personnel as well.

All interested candidates must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts with overtime as required in a light manufacturing environment which operates 24/7.

Salary ranges from $17+/hour, commensurate with experience. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required. Effective communication (reading and writing) and basic math skills are necessary, as is an excellent mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills are required. Candidates must be able to move up to 75 lbs. waist high, drive a fork truck, and be able to work at heights and in closed spaces. Candidates must use arms, legs, hands, ears, and eyes. Candidates must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, be able to walk up steps, climb into the back of a truck and work from a ladder with or without accommodations. Steel toe/safety shoes required.

Must be 18 years or older to be considered for employment.
