As a Lifecycle Logistician you spend much of your time monitoring contractor and government activity performance and progress, evaluating proposals and changes, and participating in meetings and program reviews. In order to identify logistics impacts and requirements, you analyze and assess Engineering Change Proposals, Modification Work Orders, and requests for waivers/deviations so we can better ensure efficient lifecycle product support. You also help with the planning, development, management, budgeting, and acquisition of IPS technical data and information to support lifecycle management, as well as assist with the development, updating, and review of IPS documents and products.
Being technically-minded, you enjoy tapping into your expertise when it comes to the analysis and evaluation of raw engineering source overing maintenance, repair, and test procedures. You also assist in the development of practical procedures for inclusion in equipment publications. You effectively analyze logistics support source data and determine the validity of operator and maintenance tasks, failure system analysis, troubleshooting data, equipment functional description data, and technical task analysis when performing equipment publication verification.
