Project/Office Assistant - Construction

Utility Contractor in Joliet seeking a project/office assistant to provide administrative support to our Project Manager and other office staff. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and reliable, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and able to work independently after directions are given.

Responsibilities to include:

· Answer phones and provide administrative support to the Project Manager and other office staff

· Send out daily job logs

· Create, organize, and maintain project files and databases (job prints, uploading pictures to files from crews, etc.)

· Assist in scheduling and logistics for the crews (i.e.- booking hotel rooms)

· Assist and track crew/job production

· Copying/Scanning/Filing documents

· Data collection and entry

· Perform other administrative tasks as requested including light accounting duties


Qualifications:

· Strong computer skills including the use of MS Office and Google programs

· Customer Service Skills

· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Must be able to multi-task

· Must be a team player

Education and/or Experience:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent is required

· Some college training preferred

· Previous office and customer service experience is a must

· Competent computer skills necessary
