HR Assistant - Farsi Required

Position Title: Bilingual Human Resources Assistant
Location: Sterling, VA
Department: Human Resources
Languages Required: English and Farsi
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Work Hours: 3PM-11:30PM (Tuesday - Saturday)

Large manufacturing facility in Sterling, Virginia is seeking an individual with a fluency in both English and Farsi. Experience in Human Resources or with payroll processing is preferred, but willing to train a self-motivated candidate with high energy and excellent interpersonal skills. Our client depends on new ideas and innovative thinking from every employee, every day. Bilingual HR Assistant Position Summary:

  • Perform employee orientation, development, training logistics and record keeping for Farsi speaking employees
  • Translate company-wide communications from English to Farsi
  • Participate in benefit orientations and other benefits training
  • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings; translating for Farsi speakers
  • Update employee telephone directory and company organizational chart
  • Maintain a database of employee contact information and employee personnel files
  • Assist with payroll support activities and timekeeping records

Bilingual HR Assistant Qualifications Summary:

  • Minimum one year experience working in Human Resources desired.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English and Farsi
  • General knowledge of HR employment laws and practices preferred
  • Payroll experience a plus
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
