Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for managing maintenance skilled trades, contractors, and janitors in a distribution center.

Responsibilities

§ Facility Management

o Efficient and timely execution of common processes, responsible for assigned buildings 24/7

o Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices timely training, best practices as well as delivering rewards and recognitions to promote safe behavior.

o Drive performance as measured by client’s Key Performance Indicators

o Resolve FM issues at site, escalating when needed

o Initiate purchase order requests for goods and services for sites within responsibility

o Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services against contracts and expectations

o Drive and promote safety culture within portfolio including subcontractors, suppliers and visitors

o Work with Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance and repair services.

o Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction.

o Act as point of contact with site occupants, property management/ Landlords to coordinate FM activities and ensure client needs are met

o Perform specific tasks assigned by the Facilities organization

o Provide Support for maintenance and housekeeping related activities.

o Uphold Safety as our overriding priority.

o Support and implement as necessary safety tools sue as Take 2s, Pre Task Plans (STA) , Safe Operating Practices, Safety Observation tours and Incident Investigations (5 Whys) .

o Ensure regulatory and standard safety requirements are in place and administered

o Participate in Energy and Environmental meetings an follow up on issues as required.

o Conduct informational tenant meetings as required.

o Support Tenant Emergency Response plan and Evacuation plan coordination.
