Work Control Planner III-IV

We seek to network with qualified Work Control Planners who are interested in working in partnership with one of the of the Nation's most prestigious Science and Technology Labs. We are looking for skill levels from mid-level to senior professionals. The positions may require any of the following skills:
- Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area.
- Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management system (SMMS) software.
- Ability to work in high volume work orders.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Position typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Post graduate course work may be desirable.
Procedure Writer PPA Trained, desired.
Background and Screenings
Must pass background, reference, and drug screen.
Certifications and Clearance
For certain positions, Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance is required.
