Client - Yaskawa Motoman

Location - Detroit Region

About the Role: Promote and sell Motoman products, services and images within specified geographical
region and targeted accounts to end users, integrators, and suppliers. Each territory includes existing customer base.

  • Meet specified, minimum sales dollar goal per yearly compensation program.

  • Act as first level customer liaison in all customer/company transactions and maintain
    high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Achieve specific sales dollar goals within management approved margin levels.

  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through direct contact and coordination
    of internal company resources.

  • Manage territory or account sales within budget guidelines.

  • Follow all procedural and reporting paperwork requirements in a timely manner.

  • Frequent travel required-must have valid driver's license and full-coverage auto insurance.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Self –Starter

  • 6+ years of sales experience in Capital Equipment market

  • Strong knowledge of related products in the market such as: Robotics including industrial arms, arc welding robot, press tending, material removal, Precision part positioners, Controllers , Sensors – Welding Sensors

  • Excellent negotiating, communicating and organization skills

  • Strong manufacturing and technical comprehension

  • Must be able to drive at night and fly on commercial aircraft

  • Bachelor of Science degree or 10+ years of relevant sales experience in the automation industry

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Robotic sales

  • Territorial sales experience from field office location with “in territory” coverage

  • Sale of Custom turn-key automation

  • Robotics/PLC/Pneumatics

  • Understanding process flow

  • Experience selling factory automation equipment
