Seasonal Warehouse Cheese Cutters/Wrappers $18/hr

JBCTeams: Cheese Cutters/Wrappers Needed In Queens!!!!

Busy Cheese Distribution Company in Long Island City is in need of warehouse associates. This will be a Full time position Cutting and Wrapping Cheese Orders for a warehouse.

- KNIFE HANDLING SKILLS IS REQUIRED!!!!

- Deli Counter Experience is a PLUS!

- Must Have Food Prep and Food Handling Experience

- Must be able to work in refrigerated and freezer environments

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs continuously

- Must be comfortable working with and around Cheese (produce background a PLUS)

The various positions will entail working in refrigerated environments picking or packaging food orders to go out to customers or working as quality assurance to make sure the quality of the food is up to standards. Requirements are a stable work history and a strong work ethic and the ability to work hard and follow direction. The pay is $14/hr to start.

Looking for detail-oriented problem solvers who can think quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly. When problems arise, they must be able to act quickly and decisively. In order to be successful, great communication skills and ability to work as a team member with a wide variety of people in the supply chain.

• KNIFE HANDLING SKILLS A MUST!!!!
• Deli counter experience is a plus!!!!
• Having basic mathematical abilities
• Demonstrating verbal and written communication skills
• Being proficient in basic computer applications
• Being able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Advanced skills:

• Familiarity with shipping software
• Previous warehouse experience
