Production Support

Job Positions/Titles:

• Pre-grind Operator
• Packager
• Blending
• PETFIBE

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean Plant to maintain per SQF guidelines and Master Sanitation Schedule
• Production support to fill in Pre-Grind, Packaging, Blending and PETFIBE as directed by Production Lead
• Operation of testing equipment for maintaining product specification
• Assist Control Room Personnel as needed (dumping Brown powder, filling pellet bags)
• Ability to read and follow daily schedules for Pulp plan, Processing, Packaging and Blending
• Set-up/Operate Recycle equipment
• Ability to change filter socks and cages
• Ability to fill Bulk Trucks
• Forklift certified
• Boom certified
• Ability to operate Hammermill/shredder
• Read and understand Schedule for Pre-grind, Processing, Packaging and Blending

Job Requirements, Skills, Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Strong sense of Safety
• Be able to read, write and speak English
• Able to work effectively and safely in tight and/or confined spaces in all areas of the plant
• Intermediate user knowledge or MS office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word required
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Understand paperwork and properly be able to complete
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to use PC or Smart Phone and Apps (DayForce, Morning Star for Payroll and Absences)
• Able to work in a Team atmosphere
• Ability to communicate with all personnel (Contractors, Customers, Temporaries and Management)

Physical Requirements:

Job requires for long periods of time and frequency:

• Walking to various locations in the facility
• Climbing stairs, ladders and straight ladders with man cage
• Standing, crawling, crouching and kneeling
• Out-of-position working
• Working in the elements during all seasons

Must be able to operate:

• All-terrain lift
• Scissor and boom lifts up to 120’
• Forklifts

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasions

Must be able to operate:

• All-terrain lift
• 65’ boom lift
• 45’ boom lift
• Scissor lifts
• Forklifts

Interactions and Tools/Equipment Utilized in the Job

• Consults with Maintenance personnel and staff in Logistics, Warehouses, Production and QA/QC
• Utilizes standard office equipment and computer work station and HMI controls
