We are looking for a Detail Oriented professional with strong experience in Payroll functions handling special OT calculations, bonus calculations, garnishments/child support minimum wage calculations, pro-rated benefit premium calculations, compliance reporting such as ACA 1095-C, W-2, EEO reporting, etc. You will also be able to help us grow and improve in employee engagement, recruiting, safety, compensation, processes, compliance and all other things Human Resources. The Human Resources Specialist over Payroll & Benefits, manages, organizes and maintains the HRIS & Payroll System database and processes time/attendance and pay records for 3rd party payroll processing. Facilitates HRIS system improvements, set-up/changes, reporting, and audits of data integrity with payroll, benefits, and all other Human Resource employment records. Educates and supports management and employees with payroll and benefit programs, policies and procedures. Prepares reports and responds to a number of regulatory inquiries and benchmarking surveys with payroll, benefits, and compensation information.
- Education and Experience
- 2+ years payroll processing/HRIS experience, required
- Combination of education/experience equivalent of Associates Degree in Payroll, Accounting, Human Resources Management, etc.
- Microsoft Office Software, (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) required
- HRIS software, moderate to advanced user preferred
- Timekeeping Systems
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Process driven self-starter, with the drive/ability to find and resolve root causes to problems.
- Ability to complete assignments accurately and with great attention to detail
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for payroll, timekeeping, compensation and benefits, personnel information systems, and federal, state and local labor and employment laws
