The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and administration of most or all of the Human Resources functions, including but not limited to the following: employment, recruitment, employee relations, EEO, and organizational development. The HR Specialist helps develop and drive creative HR initiatives and activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Place ads for open in-house positions
  • Manage our Career Center on our company website
  • Schedule in-house interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct initial phone screenings for potential applicants
  • Manage applicants in ATS
  • Enter new hires into internal employee database
  • Maintain in-house employee performance review schedules and notify managers when they are due
  • Complete background checks for new hires
  • Manage and update job descriptions as needed
  • Complete onboarding and orientation with new hires
  • Create new hire training schedules
  • Coordinate and complete exit interviews
