Xcite Steps is seeking passionate, friendly, and patient part-time support professionals to work with adults diagnosed with Autism and/or related disorders in the Greater San Diego area. Our Adult Behavior Technicians assist clients with building their skills to create independence and inclusion within the community.

Under the direction of a Case Manager, our Adult Behavior Technicians provide support to clients who may face challenges with abstract social thinking, vocational needs, and independent living skills.  Candidates must be willing to drive clients, as necessary, and provide support both in-home and the local community.

We offer a flexible schedule working with clients near your area. Paid training is provided. 

Adult Coaches will work between 20-25 hours per week, between the hours of 9:00am- 5:00pm M-F. Sessions will occur in person and via telehealth throughout San Diego County. 

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
• Exposure working with adults with special needs desired, but not required
• College students pursuing studies in Special Education, Psychology, Mental Health, Communication Disorders, or Behavioral Health a plus, but not required
