We have several positions open, and prefer that our guides are willing to fill in with a variety of "audience" types - Young children to teens, to adults. Before applying, read through our website and make sure you thoroughly understand what we offer. After email us with your resume, references, and a brief explanation of why you are interested in working with us and what you hope to achieve working with us.

Before you read on, think about how you would respond to the following scenarios:

1) a parent is unhappy or concerned about the weather.

2) a child in summer camp is complaining.

3) a child is very tired and upset

4) a child has inadequate/inappropriate gear

These are very common situations. It is important that the above scenarios don't upset you, but you help take care of people. We take our role as guides very seriously and want our employees to reflect that as well. When a client or child has a problem, we act as friend, mentor, mother/father, helper, nurse. We take care of all the safety concerns so that they can enjoy the outdoors worry free, and hopefully learn something along the way. We teach people young and old how to be comfortable being uncomfortable, how to be "bored", and how to fail gracefully and learn from their mistakes.

Our guides will have the minimum qualifications:

  • Love to help people -CUSTOMER SERVICE- and love to be outdoors
